Linda Giesecke is the Director of Refined Products at Rapidan Energy Group and is based in greater Boston. She is a seasoned professional with two decades of experience in global oil markets, bolstering Rapidan’s commitment to providing industry-leading energy research products to its global clientele. She has developed Rapidan’s Refined Product Module since joining the company in October 2023, marking Rapidan’s expansion into product market analysis.

Linda joined Rapidan from ESAI Energy, where she served as Director - Head of Demand Analysis. In her role at ESAI Energy, Linda led a number of initiatives, including product analysis of ESAI's monthly Global Fuels report, forecasts of transport fuels and light vehicles, analysis of energy transition technologies and regulations, and ESAI's monthly Europe Watch report.

Previously, she held several roles at Wood Mackenzie, including Research Director, where she became a key contributor to the company’s Macro Oils service, led the oil team's demand analysis, and developed long-term models of transport fuels and vehicle fleets. She spent the early days of her career as an oil market analyst at ESAI, covering Atlantic Basin fundamentals.

Linda holds a BA in Economics from Lafayette College and a Diplom in Economics from the University of Mannheim, Germany. She is originally from Germany.
