Jenna Delaney is Rapidan Energy Group’s Director of Global Crude based in Houston. She has more than 15 years of experience in the energy industry, primarily focusing on crude oil supply, demand, and trade flows. She holds a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin with a focus on Finance and Management Information Systems, and an Executive MBA from the University of Houston.

Jenna started her career on the trade floor at Musket Corporation, where she provided risk analysis for several trade books, evaluated capital projects for the business development group, and scheduled unit trains.

In 2013, Jenna joined the S&P Global family of companies, working as a North American crude oil analyst and ultimately the Head of North American Crude for Bentek and PIRA Energy Groups. In 2021, she joined Energy Aspects as the Head of North American crude oil, focusing on supply, demand, trade flows, and prices. She later designed and launched the EA Academy, which offers clients courses on how to understand and model energy markets.

Jenna has been called upon as a crude oil market expert in press interviews and has also spoken extensively at industry events.
